Lake Baikal is the deepest lake in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is considered a sacred place by most of the local residents. This gallery will be growing throughout 2005, with photos of the lake in every season, so check back soon.

Roberto Quijada (robertoquijada) > Domiki (rental cabins) at Kultushnaya. They were closed when the picture was taken in March, because it is too cold to stay in an unheated cabin without indoor plumbing. March is still winter in Siberia.
